Staff knowledge and care, prompt treatment when x-ray was seen

Suggested improvements
Was told to come back for an x-ray but the form wasn’t done which caused confusion and a longer wait. When I rang the bell on arrival in the evening one of the staff told me they were closed when in actual fact they were still open but they got their times wrong, thankfully, that staff member was corrected.

They strapped my toes. But there’s no actual knowing if I do or do NOT have a fracture or fractures at all. While it does not affect treatment according to them, it totally affects my wellbeing and mental health! If I have to not dance and meet my dance friends for 8?weeks that’s fine as long as it’s HAVE to? But if I have NOT broken anything then I don’t have to be isolated and depressed for 8 long weeks!! And why no test for osteoporosis? At 64 and a recent 2 months of steroids and having been diagnosed borderline osteoporotic in 2015 surely it’s likely to be much worse a decade later? I need to know so I can get treatment like CalciD and prevent further fractures?! I have now broken bones every summer, 2022,23 and possibly 24? But no cray which was the Only reason for driving - in pain- all the way from Thame to Henley!

The nurse that dealt with my injuries (Cathy or Kathy?) was excellent. I had complete trust in her and she was also very kind and considerate.

Suggested improvements
More staff to improve the waiting times.
